On Friday 16 June, a deputation from Grand Lodge comprising Deputy Grand Master and Governor, Ewan Rutherford, Assistant to the Grand Secretary, Grant A. Kavanagh and the Grand Marischal Ray King travelled to Kent for the Installation of the new Provincial Grand Master.
The meeting was held on that evening within the Gillingham Masonic Centre during which the Deputy Grand Master and Governor installed Bro. Eric Hampson as the Provincial Grand Master of the Province of Kent. This was followed by a very pleasant and enjoyable harmony.
The Deputation returned to Edinburgh the following morning after a very pleasant and memorable visit.
