On Thursday 31 August, a deputation from Grand Lodge comprising Deputy Grand Master and Governor, Brother Ewan Rutherford, Grand Clerk, Brother Grant A. Kavanagh and the Grand Marischal Brother Ray King travelled to Derbyshire for the Installation of the new Provincial Grand Master, Brother Graham Scott Johnston.
The meeting was held on that evening within the Derby Masonic Temple during which the Deputy Grand Master and Governor installed Bro. Johnston as the Provincial Grand Master of the Province of Derbyshire. A thoroughly enjoyable harmony followed which was enjoyed by all who attended.
The Deputation returned to Edinburgh the following morning after a very pleasant and memorable visit.
