Provincial Grand Treasurer

Bro Peter N I Harborne, Past Substitute Provincial Grand Master, is the Provincial Grand Treasurer and has been since his election and investiture on 18th June 2016. 

Bro Peter is the son of Bro Leslie R Harborne who served as Provincial Grand Master from 2004 – 2009. He was Advanced and Promoted by his father on 21st October 2006. Peter served his country in the Royal Air Force, attaining the rank of Wing Commander. He is a highly experienced Freemason and in addition to his commitment to the Province, he is a Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master in the Craft Province in Buckinghamshire, Past Provincial Grand Master in the Mark Province of Buckinghamshire, and is currently the Inspector-General for Buckinghamshire in the Ancient & Accepted Rite. 

The Provincial Grand Treasurer controls all financial transactions and maintains suitable accounting policies and prepares financial statements. He makes prudent provisions within the accounts and budgets for known future commitments and formulates plans to ensure the long-term prosperity and future of the Province.
 
The financial year of the Province is 1st May to the 30th April and audited Statements of Accounts are presented at the June meeting of the Province for the preceding year.

The annual subscription for membership of the Province is £40.00 due on the 1st of May each year. Standing Order Mandates are available on request from the Treasurer.

The Royal Order of Scotland is an unincorporated body with its headquarters at 23 St John Street, Edinburgh.
