On Thursday 25 August, a deputation from Grand Lodge comprising Deputy Grand Master and Governor, Ewan Rutherford, the Grand Secretary, Alan Dickson and the Grand Marischal Ray King travelled to  Bad Iburg for the Installation of the new Provincial Grand Master for the Province of  Rheinland.

Friday was spent in Münster, a lovely town an hour outside of Bad Iburg. Among the highlights of the day was seeing the Münster Cathedral and the cages on St Lambert's Church, Münster  - a reminder of failed rebellion in 1535 which resulted in the bodies of the three ringleaders being placed in the cages for 50 years.

The meeting was held on Saturday 27 August within the Hotel Zum Freden during which the Deputy Grand Master and Governor installed Bro. Glyn Vincent Edmonds as the Provincial Grand Master of the Province of Rheinland.  This was followed by a very pleasant harmony .

The Deputation returned to Edinburgh on Sunday 28th after a very pleasant and memorable visit.
